SLOW COOKER:
For some reason comin home from work and having your meal already done for you is just a blessing. I love to cook and bake, but sometimes I just need a break. So, coming up with some of these recipes have been such a time saver and I have to say, they are pretty darn good, too! Get your crockpot ready, put some items in and let it do the rest!
Slow cooked Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients:
2lb. pork tenderloin
1 envelope of dry onion soup mix
1 cup beef broth
3/4 cup red wine
3 tbsp. minced garlic
3 tbsp. soy sauce

Directions:
1. Place tenderloin into slow cooker and rub the onion mix into meat.
2. Pour water, wine and soy on top and turn over to coat.
3. Spread garlic over top of pork. Sprinkle with pepper to taste and cover.
4. Cook on low 3-4 hours. Serve with cooking juices on the side...Au Jus!
Pot Roast Pork and Potatoes
Ingredients:
3 to 4lb. pork loin roast, well trimmed
Kitchen Bouquet
Garlic salt
salt/pepper
3 to 4 baking potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks

Directions:
1. Brush pork roast with Kitchen Bouquet. Sprinkle with garlic salkt, salt and pepper. Place potatoes in bottom of slow cooker, place port roast on top of potatoes.
2. Cover and cook on high setting for 4 to 6 hours or longer, depending on how done you like it...then turn onto low or warm setting.
Italian Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients:
1 (29oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (29oz.) can tomato puree
1 (29oz.) can water
2 (12oz.) cans tomato paste
4 1/2 (12oz.) cans water
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. minced onion
2 tsp. parsely flakes
2 bay leaves
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients into slow cooker and put on low setting for 3 hours.
Slow Cooker Apple Butter
Ingredients:
12 pounds Golden Delicious apples – peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
3 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground allspice

Directions:
1. Place apples and vinegar into a large slow cooker, and place lid on top.
2. Set on High, and cook for 8 hours, then turn to Low, and continue cooking 10 hours more.
3. After 18 hours, stir in white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice, and cook 4 hours more.
